With the upcoming retirement of our long standing Deputy Headteacher, Whitings Hill School are looking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher starting in September 2025. As Deputy Headteacher, you will be working within the Senior Leadership Team and take on key areas of whole-school responsibility including safeguarding and assessment.

You can expect to receive high quality professional development, on-going support, and opportunities to work with other colleagues within Barnet through our BPSI membership. This is a substantial position, reporting directly to the Headteacher and would suit a highly ambitious aspiring leader, keen to play a collaborative and innovative role in Whitings Hill School’s strategic vision.

Whitings Hill is a popular two form entry primary school situated in Barnet. It has an excellent reputation for academic results and pastoral care with the unique feature of offering swimming lessons to every child weekly from Year 1 to Year 6 in our stunning swimming pool.
